The company:

A Global Premium Hair Care Brand is looking for a Global Sales Force Development Director to drive commercial excellence in order to achieve KPIs, budget revenue and profit objectives and the implementation of a global strategy. The business is a truly luxury lifestyle brand with a reputation for excellence, innovation and quality in the UK market. The brand is highly entrepreneurial with a strong focus on developing teams that are resilient, tenacious and go above and beyond. The brand has great potential for future development and is looking for the right person to take them to the next level.

The role:

You will be reporting directly into the Chief Commercial Officer and you will be responsible for monitoring opportunities to align activity plans, optimising retail and salon presence and coach and support the development of key Sales Managers. A key strategic figure you will support the development of the teams in all markets to realise the vision and strategy for the brand.

You will have experience of managing large teams to deliver sales and gross margin objectives alongside experience of building a premium brand ideally in both salon and retail.

Key responsibilities:

  • KPIs reporting, monitoring and analysis including promotion dimensioning and post analysis
  • Incentive schemes structures and execution alongside Sales Cycle Planning.
  • Recruitment and development planning with a strong focus on training and development programs
  • Sales, marketing and education co-ordination
  • Build a clear Channel strategy and differentiation for the implementation of a Selective Distribution model and Go To Market Plans
  • Salon development including VM and execution and stylist engagement development plans
  • Liaise with marketing on development of activity plans

The person:

The right person for the role will be disciplined and structured in their approach to sales management with a strong ability to influence. Dynamic presentation, coaching and training skills with Key Account Management and retail experience. Salon experience is essential to the position.
