An excellent opportunity has now become available to join an award winning UK wholesaler and distributor specialising in a number of product ranges within Greetings, Gift and Stationery. As well as manufacturing their own product range the company offer a branded product proposition and has established a strong customer base within independent retailers, garden centres and specialist gift and toy stores.

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their growing sales team to support the rapid growth of the business. The company is constantly reinvesting to ensure they continue to be a market leader, bringing technology to the forefront of their organisation which is now giving the sales team all the tools necessary to become even more successful. There is also an entrepreneurial spirit that runs deep throughout the business which is reflected in the autonomy that is given to the current Sales team.

As an Area Sales Manager you will be expected to grow and develop the turnover within your designated territory. The area is already well developed with a strong existing portfolio of customers that you will nurture and manage accordingly to increase sales. You will also be required to travel across the region to meet with prospective customers and create new business opportunities. A genuine passion for the industry and product is essential to become successful in this position.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be an experienced, high calibre candidate who has the ambition and drive to grow an existing region. You will ideally be operating at Area Sales Manager level currently and looking for a new challenge. Experience within Greeting Cards, Gift or stationery is beneficial but not necessary however, you must have experience working with customers in the independent retail sector. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to quickly build rapport and strong relationships with existing and new customers.
