Overview

Pukka Herbs began just 16 years ago when its two entrepreneurial founders, Sebastian Pole and Tim Westwell met. Neither had created an organisation before but both had a shared vision to bring herbs to the masses and to do this in a sustainable and ethical way.

Fast forward 16 years and Pukka is the fastest growing herbal tea company and the 6th fastest growing grocery brand in the UK. Over a million cups of Pukka tea are drunk every day and Pukka’s teas and supplements are sold in over 40 countries across the globe.

To help ensure the organisation continues on this growth trajectory Pukka has created a very exciting five year plan. A key element of this plan is a significant expansion of the UK sales team. We are recruiting four opportunities in national and international account management, across grocery multiple retailers, convenience, new channels and healthcare.

What will you be doing?

You will be using your unique skill set to inspire and engage customers and your colleagues, working across functions as one team to help achieve the five year plan. 

Who are you?

You will be a driven sales professional with strong interpersonal skills and an excellent track record of meeting your targets. You will also be connected and inspired by Pukka’s business purpose to connect people, plants and planet in an ethical and sustainable way. We are looking for candidates with particular experience in international, national and/or regional FMCG sales. Ideally, you are educated to degree standard or equivalent. 

Other requirements for the role are:

  • A strong track record of consistently delivering targets
  • A good decision maker who is able to consult the views of others to reach consensus 
  • The ability to deal well with high levels of ambiguity
  • A customer centric mind-set to develop sustainable partnership plans
  • An inspiring style of engaging partnership plans with key customers
  • Experience at executing full through-the-line activation plans
  • Strong commercial acumen 
  • Good organisation and the flexibility to prioritise tasks effectively
  • The ability to influence and mobilise action within the team
  • Experience launching products to new or existing markets
  • Experience of managing budgets and delivering targets
