Junior National Account Manager – Chilled Foods - Top 4 Grocery Retail Multiple
C. £35k plus bonus, car allowance and benefits 
Based: South East - M1/M25
 

Our client is a well-established chilled foods business and a leading supplier of own-label products and quality brands to the major Grocery Retail Multiples. With a solid reputation for innovation and NPD, forward thinking and continued investment in state of the art production facilities, the business prides itself on delivering a flexible, efficient customer service that’s second to none.

With a clear vision and strategy for growth they are now looking for a highly talented individual with future career development potential to support their growing business in a Top 4 Grocery Retail Multiple account. The role will have real and specific responsibility from day one, for which you will take full ownership. Your remit will be varied and you will be involved in managing all commercial discussions both internally and with the customer, including supply chain, forecasting, NPD, pricing, range reviews and joint business planning. 

The role is based at the company’s office in the South East (M1/M25) with some flexibility for home working, plus regular weekly customer meetings. 

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with some previous FMCG sales experience at National Account Executive or Junior Account Manager level, ideally having a background in an own-label food environment. However, candidates with brand only food experience will be considered.

You will need to demonstrate a confident and articulate personal style with strong commercial acumen and good numerical, analytical and presentation skills, plus excellent attention to detail. Most importantly, you will have a drive and desire for further development in National Accounts.
