The Company:

I am currently working with a very exciting and award winning food start up with BIG growth plans! Already established within its region as the number one and with National listings with all grocery and Premium Independents they are in a really good place. Their business is founded on quality, innovation and only using UK ingredients/suppliers (where possible - the UK doesn't make much coco or Peruvian sea salt!). Due to growth plans the business is now seeking a new Sales Account Manager.

Job Role:

The role involves developing business within the foodservice industry, identifying potential customers, strategic planning for approaching potential customers, and bold execution in bringing on new customers. We are talking, high end hotels, restaurants, leisure and tourism. You will also be responsibility for relationships with a number of key Distributor Accounts.

This role will involve spending time in the office planning and coordinating strategy as well as time out meeting with sales reps, chefs and restaurant owners.

The role will include plenty of travelling and occasional national trips for events like Distributor Trade Shows.

Required Attributes:

  • Strategic: You will need to be strategic in using the resources available to grow the business.
  • Creative: You will need to be creative in order to consistently communicate brand and ethos and showcase product.
  • Disciplined: You will need to be disciplined in order to make sure that strategy is planned and executed in a timely and ordered fashion.
