Shopper Marketing Manager - Quirky Food Brand

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Shopper/Trade Marketing Manager to join our fun-loving branded client. Our client is a market leader in their category, specialising in organic foods with a quirky and creative style. They hold a strong presence across all UK grocery retailers and are known for the dynamic marketing strategy and forward-thinking innovation.

Although they are well-established in the industry, they operate with a friendly and entrepreneurial atmosphere that is known for having a people-focused culture that rewards success and ambition.

Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for their next Shopper Marketing Manager to lead and define a bespoke retailer-focused strategy and run communications from a shopper perspective. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager with 1 direct report, you will create and activate the marketing plans for all retailers (including online) as well as managing the annual activation calendar. You will work closely with the sales team to define a consumer focused approach, all while keeping the brand at the forefront of the business.

The successful candidate will be an engaging and driven individual with a strong background in Shopper/Trade/Customer Marketing. You will be experienced in creating and implementing brand activation plans, working closely with the top 4 grocery retailers to get your brand message across. You will be both strategic and executional, and have exposure to managing agencies and ideally at least one direct line report. Project management experience and the ability to communicate and negotiate is essential.
