Nigel Wright is pleased to have partnered with Stokke and assisting with their search for a Key Account Manager.

Stokke was founded in Ålesund, on the west coast of Norway, in 1932 and is today a leading international design led consumer business. They focus on producing a range of premium children´s furniture and equipment which is made in the best interest of the child and with timeless designs which never go out of style. After securing a significant investment in 2014, the organisation is driving growth, product development and opening flagships stores around the world.

Due a recent internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join the organisation as the company enters a new phase. Your role will be to drive sales targets through the development of an existing retailer base and identifying new business opportunities in line with company strategy and coordination with the Area Sales Manager.

To be considered for the role, you should.

• Be educated to a degree level, ideally with additional professional commercial qualifications
• Have experience of FMCG sales with premium products at both a national and local level
• Knowledge of distribution models, complex joint business plans, developing retail strategies
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leaderships skills

Your role will be diverse and varied and therefore you should be adaptable to accommodate change; one day you will be meeting national multi-million pound accounts, the next day you could be visiting premium independent retailers, driving new product development, campaigns and best in class display solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence global purchasing trends at the highest level and will be significantly involved in management and running of Flagship and Side-by-Side stores where you will provide effective retailer sales training.
