About the Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to lead this team of account managers across a number of channels. You will have line management responsibility for a team of 4 with personal national account management responsibility for a large customer. Reporting into the Head of Sales you will play an active role in the senior sales management team.

As the Senior National Account Manager, you will work with the Sales Director to agree budgets and set strategic guidelines for your sales team, working with them to deliver sales and profitability.

  • Take full responsibility for your team and sales number whilst exceeding expectations and outperforming market growth. 
  • Working with your team to understanding the product mix and developing JBPs for the larger accounts.
  • You’ll work with your team to develop improved sales results through leadership, motivation, training and coaching.
  • You should be able to show demonstrable business success in both man-management and national account management with strong business acumen.
  • Be a strategic thinker with strengths in people management, business planning and forecasting whilst showing exceptional communication skills.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong education, ideally with a degree in Business Studies or similar
  • Demonstrable business success & career progression in both Sales and Marketing
  • Experience & success in both man-management and account management
  • A good working knowledge of the high street channel
  • A passion for developing a team
  • Proactive, passionate, keen to learn team player
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate ideas concisely and confidently
  • Analytical problem solver with high attention to detail
  • Personal initiative, with the ability to take on a high level of autonomy
  • Creative problem-solver with proven leadership competencies
