Our marketing strategy relies on innovative, clever, bold and sometimes ill-advised ideas and creativity. Concepts that no other brewery or brand could get away with. Campaigns that scare the sh*t out of legal teams and raise hell in both our homeland and abroad.

BrewDog’s marketing raises awareness of our beer worldwide, providing a window to our brewery. Our mission is to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are, and we do that by shortening the distance between the people who make our beer and the people who drink it.

We’re on the hunt for a next-level marketing lead to take the reins for our marketing department, help navigate the business through its next wave of growth, champion Punk IPA and develop and inspire our team to greatness.

 

MAIN DUTIES

This position will require 5+ years at a senior marketing level, ideally focusing on BTL disciplines. The marketing manager is at the head of the department, reporting to the managing director, and will lead the senior marketing team consisting of six sub departments;

  • Digital (including Content, Comms & E-Commerce)
  • Product (including Beer & Merchandise)
  • Creative & Design
  • Brand & PR
  • Customer Marketing

We also employ an external agency for PR, which is a heavy focus for our exposure, and this will also come under your remit.

Punk IPA is our flagship product, accounting for 60% of our sales worldwide. Our ambition is to make Punk the world’s leading IPA. Therefore, Punk’s focused strategy would also be a part of the position, delivering an activation programme across all sub departments for this post-modern classic over the next 3-5 years. You will need to be an incredibly strong manager and leader, with proven experience of getting the most out of a skilled existing team.

SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

  • Exemplary people management and leadership
  • Experience in PR, social media, email marketing, events, trade & retail marketing, merchandise & design.
  • Strategic planning & design
  • Able to manage and control the financial aspects of running a marketing department, calculating and managing an annual budget for the division
