My client are Britain's biggest specialist supplier of tools and machinery selling to stockists across a wide range of markets including automotive, industrial, DIY and export. They have a long established history and are a highly successful company.

The business are now in a position to recruit an Internal Sales Manager. This exciting new role has responsibility for managing and developing the call centre sales team currently handling incoming sales calls and enquiries from new and existing customers. Highly experienced in motivating, measuring and building the performance of an internal team selling to stockists, you must also be able to develop effective outbound sales call activity.

Ideally with experience of a similar role in a company selling hard goods (tools and machinery, electrical wholesale etc), you will relish the opportunity to show how you can use your skills and experience to get the best from our sales team as you grow sales from our existing and new customers

Primary Personal Attributes Required:

  • Committed, Self-motivated, Sales orientated Individual with a target driven work ethic
  • Proven experience of measuring and developing the performance of an internal sales team.
  • Must have good solid Sales Management background
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good business sense
  • The ability to motivate, train and lead a team
  • Initiative and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication and 'people skills'
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Good IT, budget and report writing skills
