The Role: The successful Business Development Manager will be selling a large/heavy parcel delivery service; you will be acting in a purely business development capacity, speaking to operations and logistics managers of companies in sectors including retail, manufacturing and pharmaceutical.

As a group they enjoy a sales turnover approaching £10 billion and are now in expansion mode after recovering from the recession. Looking to recruit an additional Business Development Manager in the South East area to join their sales team.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Strong field sales skills within a B2B space
• You will come from a heavy/large logistics or delivery services background
• A significant track record of success in a strategic and consultative sell, ideally having sold a service
• Polished and commercially strong candidates will succeed here
