Job Details
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager within food service to join their growing commercial team. They’re looking for a field based rep with a proven track record of business development and account management. The role will mainly be field based in the West Midlands, with 4 days out on the road meeting clients, and one day working out of the office. You will typically be selling in to traditional food service clients such as pubs, restaurants and cafes etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development sales role, sourcing new food service opportunities for the business form existing and prospect accounts.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts, and be their primary point of contact.
- Achieving financial targets for sales revenue.
- Negotiating commercial terms.
- Establishing strong relationships with customers and being their primary point of contact.
- Oversee the accurate forecasting of orders.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have previous experience selling within the food service industry and in the field.
- Strong field sales experience, with a proven track record of success with developing new business.
- Full UK drivers licence with the ability to travel as and when required.
- Confident, driven and personable.
- Organized and the ability to prioritize, manage deadlines and make decisions.
- Computer literacy.
The Package:
- Up to £33,000 basic salary dependent upon experience.
