Our Client

Our client is looking for an exceptional Technical Manager to join their reputable and pioneering business. The company is a market leader of its category and is one of the most well-known, and respected brand and manufacturer in its sector.

The Role

As the Technical Manager for their main manufacturing site you will lead and manage a team of 5 direct reports. This person will work closely with the Technical Director to empower the team to deliver innovative high-end products to meet leading retailer specifications and exceed customer’s expectations. Demonstrating best practice this position will uphold compliance and implement robust quality processes and systems amongst the team to ensure maintenance of their Grade A BRC certification.  The role will be customer facing and work collaboratively across all aspects of supply chain including a close interaction with NPD, Commercial and Operation and CI teams

The Candidate

We’re looking for an outstanding Technical Manager who has worked with key UK retailers to deliver complex high end food products with at least 5 years’ experience within food manufacturing.  This is a brilliant opportunity for an established Quality Manager or experienced Technical Manager to take ownership of the Technical department and implement best practice and process improvements. To be successful in this position you will be a strong team player and a natural leader, more importantly you will have an ability to influence and engage your team to do it right first time.
