Here at Molson Coors we are looking for an inspiring and forward thinking On-Trade Sales Controller to head up the team and continue our expansion in the Scotland on-trade drinks market. Leading a high performing team, you will drive forward growth-enhancing opportunities with both new and existing customers across the multiple-on-trade, independent, wholesalers and key account groups. We are looking for an experienced leader, who can help shape and develop a transformational sales agenda creating best in class customer engagement, value-enhancing strategies and embedding world-class sales principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a sales team with genuine competitive advantage, highly engaged, committed and focused on growth and achieving first class customer relationships.
  • Devise a clear strategic template for optimised investment and ensuring we have a clear and well considered plan for how we provide support and investment to existing and new customers throughout Scotland.
  • A relentless focus for developing a high performance team that understands the customer and the commercial arena with high level P&L responsibilities.
  • Influencing - Lead, manage and contribute on the relevant channel projects and working with other RTM partners to strengthen partnerships.
  • Demonstrate strong influence skills among peer group providing clear recommendations to ensure resource and effort is appropriately aligned across the channel.
  • Talent Management - Recruit, develop, engage and grow a team of extraordinary people to achieve the strategic requirements of the channel.
  • Create an environment that gives individuals the opportunity to develop and showcase their achievements, setting out a clear career path through the RTM channel and out into the wider business, through clear Performance Management, excellent coaching and development.
  • Understand regional issues & opportunities and make proposals to deliver optimum results against objectives where they may differ from national activity.

About You

  • You will have significant On-Trade Sales experience within the drinks market, ideally gained in Scotland
  • You will be energetic, a go-getter, and the drive to achieve exceptional results
  • Previous experience of building and managing high performing sales teams
  • You will have fantastic commercial understanding with a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot commercial opportunities
