The Role
As the successful Customer Business Manager you will be responsible for the joint customer business planning, incorporating promotional plan, listing & distribution of NPD, securing shelf space in line with market share and/or category objectives. You will manage the Tesco account within the business, whilst developing and maintaining effective customer relationships at all levels. You will also be expected to pro-actively track performance of your account(s) understanding the key drivers of the performance and working closely with your Controller and the cross functional team to implement corrective action to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan. You will be responsible for one direct report within your team,.

The successful Customer Business Manager will have:
• Current experience in one of the following roles: Customer Business Manager, National Account Manager, Customer Account Manager, Senior National Account Manager, Business Operations Manager, Commercial Channel Manager, Commercial Strategy Manager or equivalent.
• Experience within a Branded/Blue Chip FMCG organisation in a National Account Management role managing Top 4 Grocery accounts
• A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach
• Good understanding and insight into Category Management principles
• Preferably be degree educated or equivalent
