Our client is a globally successful, market and category leading FMCG business with an instantly recognisable branded portfolio. An opportunity has arisen for a talented, high achiever to join the team in a newly created Category Management role working on a high profile strategic account.
The key remit of the role of Category Manager is to lead the development of category plans, pro-actively taking the lead in identifying actionable recommendations that the customer unit team can implement, enabling the business to lead the category agenda within the customer. The Category Manager will be an excellent relationship builder providing the customer with compelling category selling stories in addition to being the voice of the consumer internally and externally.
The ideal candidate will have category management experience gained in an established category team within an FMCG business. A combination of sales and category experience is also of interest. You will have experience of working with national retail customers and will be established in your category career.
