Sales Manager - Wholesale/Cash & Carry customers - Home based - Progression

“My client is an innovative food manufacturing business with an exciting product range.  Already established in foodservice, wholesale, cash n carrys and export they are looking to continue to grow strategically within these sectors.

This role is a Senior Sales management position that will have high level interaction with major customers and also management of their sales team and strategic planning for the business.”

The Role
•    Report to and liaise with the General Manager on the week’s activities, past, present and future.
•    Proactively increasing sales to new and established customers to meet and if possible exceed sales targets.
•    Man management of sales team.
•    There will be account management with an emphasis on driving new business.
•    Customers are mainly UK based but there are some based in Europe.
•    The position is a national role with occasional travel to mainland Europe. 

The Candidate
•    The successful applicant will come from a food manufacturing business ideally. 
•    Expertise in selling frozen food products will be advantageous.
•    Relevant industry experience selling into wholesale, cash n carry, distributors, catering customers is a MUST. 
•    Man management experience required. 
•    Customer contacts within UK and Europe will be advantageous. 

What’s on Offer 
•    Monday to Friday.
•    Home Based. 
•    Opportunity to progress to Sales Director level.
•    Circa £45,000-£60,000 basic + car/car allowance + bonus package + benefits.
