Role - National Account Manager - Charcuterie, Deli Meats & Speciality Cheeses

Salary - Up to 55,000 + company car, bonus and benefits.

Home based - UK wide

We are currently searching for a National Account Manager to join a leading purveyor of continental food products to UK Retail, Manufacturing and Foodservice. Established in the UK for over 40 years the company have a wealth of experience in sourcing high quality Mediterranean food from Southern Europe and are passionate about new product development. Their products can be found throughout the top four retailers including Tesco Finest ranges.

The role of National Account Manager will involve expanding sales within existing food manufacturers across the UK. Current client base within food manufacturing includes Bakkavor, Two Sisters, Samworth Brothers and Greencore. You will also be responsible for identifying and enriching new customers within the sector and managing the relationship thereafter. It's a great product line with a highly reputable family run business.

As a successful candidate, ideally you will have direct experience managing food manufacturing accounts such as those mentioned within your most recent role. It is essential you have a background with Dairy and/or Deli Meats/Charcuterie, a passion for driving business to business sales and be well versed in identifying new business development opportunities with clients in this sector. You may even have had direct P&L responsibility however this is not essential. In return you can expect a generous package of up to 55,000 (flexible and very much based on experience) and an autonomous role within an expanding business with genuine career development opportunities.

Ideally you will be tenacious, ambitious and driven - the perfect candidate will have an entrepreneurial edge and drive new ideas relating to business growth both in the UK and Internationally. This is a highly autonomous role where you will have great flexibility but also the support and guidance of a passionate, reputable family run business with a fantastic existing client base.
