Your new company
My client is one of the largest retail organisations in Europe. This innovative and dynamic company is a multi-channel retailer which has a large consumer base. Going from strength-to-strength, they sell goods online and in store including a range of health, beauty and essential products to provide consumers with their everyday needs.

Your new role
In this 12 month fixed term contract role based in the Midlands, you will utilise your expert knowledge and buying experience to source, select and review products to be sold both online and within selected stores. Ensuring continuous delivery of key financial KPI's, you will manage and convey tactical plans, maintain knowledge of key supplier & competitor activities, ensure clear measurement of product performance and build annual strategic plans to deliver future targets. This role will suit someone who wants to own their own profit & loss, deliver a step change performance and willing to occasionally travel to other offices and stores.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be immediately available and have excellent Buying or Category management experience within a multi-channel FMCG retailer or wholesaler. With a proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets, you will have excellent experience in successfully demonstrating your skills in negotiating, strategic planning, multi-tasking, leadership and coaching. You will also possess a distinctive ability to build strong relationships and utilise market knowledge to drive decision making and meet targets in a fast paced environment.
