Commercial Manager | Fresh and Frozen Food | Progression
Our client is an entrepreneurial fresh and frozen food business, who have an excellent opportunity for an up and coming commercial manager to join their team and help with them with overall strategic plan. There is a clear opportunity for progression as well, as you will be working alongside the incumbent Head of Sales and looking to step into that role within 18 months or so. The business are in a competitive market and therefore require someone who is used to working in a fast paced environment.
The Job of Commercial Manager:-
In conjunction with the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for setting and leading the commercial agenda as well as playing a significant role in developing new business across a range of channels.
You will keep a close eye on the overall market and ensure that your range and offering is competitive at all times.
You will be the main point of contact for all customer discussions (be that in retail or foodservice) and will aim to ensure win win situations where possible.
The Ideal Candidate:-
You will have a background in the food industry and have broad experience with the major retailers and ideally some foodservice customers as well.
You will have a proven track record of delivering growth within your previous roles and will be looking to take the next step in your career.
You will be comfortable with numbers and have a good eye for detail.
