We are currently looking for a qualified accounting professional with financial or business management experience in a professional services arena.

About the Role:

This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. You will oversee all aspects of the firm's strategy and lead financial functions. You will analyse and present financial reports making suggestions for improvements. The budget for the head office will also fall under your remit. You will use your experience to create a comprehensive financial plan and report any discrepancies or anomalies. You will offer your oversight and experience to prepare accurate financial statements within tight time constraints. You will be able to demonstrate your negotiation skills and have a track record of delivering a variety of projects. You will need to design and implement systems for improving business performance and implement the cultural adoption of these practices.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an accredited (ACA or ACCA) financial professional with an MBA in a relevant area. You will come from a professional services background and have experience in delivering new accounting systems and processes. You will be a real influencer and be the driving force behind the Managing Partner's direction and wider agenda. You will be highly accurate with a keen eye for detail.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must, as a minimum, have an accounting accreditation (ACA or ACCA) and come from a strong financial background. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to improve and implement accounting systems, and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to articulate the tangible outcomes achieved as a result of their continuous improvement efforts.

Salary:

Remuneration shall be competitive depending on experience.
