Category & Insight Executive

Haribo are looking for an enthusiastic Category & Insight Executive to work within the Category Team and lead the insight and category analysis for the wider HARIBO business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across both HARIBO and MAOAM, UK And Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing the market, retailer and product performance, while identifying opportunities for business development.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**

Business Analysis:

  • Producing standardised reports for the business, and tracking account, product and promotional performance
  • Maintaining the product sales database
  • Maintaining the retail sales databases

 


Competitor Analysis:

 

  • Tracking competitor activity, including promotions and new product launches

 


Retail Analysis:

 

  • Working with product and account management to understand and develop the HARIBO and MAOAM product range within key retail accounts
  • Assisting in the producing of account specific category reviews

 


Marketing Analysis:

 

  • Support in tracking effectiveness of new marketing initiatives including new pos development, in store activity, TV campaigns etc.

 

 

 


**Qualifications / Experience**

 

 

 

  • Business, numerical or marketing degree desirable
  • Experience working in an analytical role (essential), preferable within an FMCG company
  • Ability to motivate self to achieve deadlines
  • Excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills
  • Professional and confident persona at all levels
  • Advanced levels of Microsoft office suite (particularly Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Experience in working with retailer link data
