Business Development Executive / Meat Business / West Midlands / £25,000 - £40,000 + Package

My client is a successful meats business supplying the foodservice sector seeking 2 ambitious Business Development Executives due to company growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with an excellent customer base.

An ideal candidate will have good understanding of meat and the different cuts along with great relationship building experience and new business development.

The Role:

• Focus will be on developing new customers, increasing their sales advising on different cuts, quantities and working with strong margins
• There will be an office element and ultimately going out visiting customers to develop new business further
• Sell into foodservice wholesalers and end users
• Cross sell the range to ensure a good volume of product is being sold
• Negotiate contracts and agreements
• Effectively planning meetings
• Engage with other departments to ensure all customer requirements are completed on time and in full

The candidate:

• Experience within the meat industry and an understanding of the different cuts
• Business development and account management experience to optimise all opportunities
• Passionate and energetic regarding the product range with a positive attitude
• Confident relationship builder and negotiator on pricing and deals
• Ideally experience selling into wholesale and foodservice end users
• Thrives on achieving targets and confident when securing new business
• Self-motivated and disciplined
