Sales Account Manager
My client is a large European FMCG business, with offices and manufacturing capability across Central Europe and in the UK. They have a portfolio of own label products, in most of the UK grocery multiples.
As Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounts, maintaining relationships and maximising sales opportunities within those accounts. You will take part in new business pitches, manage figures and forecasting, visit clients, write business plans, and generally be exposed to all aspects of account management.
We are looking for someone at the start of their sales career, who has some experience of the food industry on their CV already. You will need to be able to demonstrate your passion for a career in sales/account management, and the successes you have had to date. Relationship building is obviously important, as are good communication skills, negotiation skills, a commercial outlook and a head for figures.
It is vital that you have some experience of UK retailers, wholesalers or cash & carry businesses.
