Our client is an instantly recognisable branded food manufacturer that's experiencing steady growth in a challenging market and the opportunity to join in a National Account Controller capacity is a fantastic one! With a turnover in excess of £1Bn, the business has a clear growth plan and as a National Account Controller, on a strategic grocery account you will play an integral role in achieving this.
To be considered for this role, it is crucial that you are a strong strategic thinker and have an excellent track record of growing business in the food and drink sector. This position will suit either a Controller, SNAM or Commercial Manager looking for a step up to a more senior level, or a commercial leader frustrated in their current role. The role will be responsible for growing the people structure which includes Business Development Managers and Regional Account Managers. Therefore, the role would be well suited to an individual who has managed large commercial teams before and enjoys developing individuals to fulfil their potential.
This is a complex role that will challenge even the brightest of commercial individuals. Your ability to influence internal and external stakeholders will be called upon on a day to day basis, a self-starter attitude is also vital.
