Role Purpose Statement
To take full accountability for corporate retail sales P&L within Country Choice and to develop and deliver the annual sales plan through the execution of the Country Choice Sales strategy and to provide the sales leadership for the corporate team
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead, direct, mentor and motivate the Corporate, sales teams to deliver results, high performance and to ensure best practice
  • Development of UK business plan from agreed sales strategies and tools that is owned and executed to deliver results in line with budget.
  • Drive a customer-focused and consumer-aware team to deliver a strategy that allows customers to succeed and develops a relationship with those customers based on trust.
  • To drive sales and margin performance through existing business and new customer wins
  • Identification of competitor activity and development of action plans to respond to that activity that are clearly understood and well executed by team
  • To act as the conduit of customer, market and competitor data back to the business to help shape and develop the customer proposition
  • To develop first class relationships and to take responsibility for key negotiations with Corporate customers and to manage all significant corporate customer tenders

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
Essential:
  • Proven track record of operating at a senior level within a Sales function with a minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience
  • Proven track record within FMCG and Multiple account management
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of commercial levers of a business and understanding of successful negotiation at a senior level
  • Previous experience of man-management – minimum of 5 years experience
  • Proven track record to manage a significant budget spend in conjunction with strong motivation to identify and deliver cost savings without compromising service levels
  • MS Office – minimum of intermediate excel, word and PowerPoint
  • High level of commercial awareness
  • Full clean driving licence
