The Role
As a Van Sales colleague within our Fresh Faye brand you will be delivering our customers’ orders, on multi-drops, accurately and on time along with selling in new products and taking an active role in increasing the customers’ orders. You will need to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers and have the ability to resolve queries wherever possible.
This role is ideally suited to a current Driver who would like to expand their skill set and develop their career into the sales arena. Along with a great base salary this position also receives a competitive commission structure!
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Increasing customers’ orders and selling in new and exciting product lines
  • Working with the Sales Operations teams to ensure correct order taking and making.
  • Face to face selling to customers on their premises,
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all issues resolution dn complaint escalation.
  • Accurate picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders
  • Maintaining product temperatures
  • Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA
  • Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation
The Person
You must have the relevant Licence along with an in date CPC card and Digital Tachograph. You will need to be physically fit and have the ability to be flexible to meet the varying demands of your customers.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self confidence to sell in a face to face environment
  • The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
  • The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
