As the successful Senior Category Manager you will:
-Work closely with sales and marketing to ensure that the commercial plans reflect customer category strategy plans.
-Create the category strategy for one of the client's largest Grocery customers, including category engagement and resourcing.
-Develop annual external category growth plans and ongoing external partnerships with our external partnerships.
-Be responsible for leading, coaching and inspiring your team of direct reports to become trusted partners with our client's Grocery customers.
-Support Category Controllers in team building and strategic planning, and contribute to the overall Category and Shopper team agenda and vision cross-category.

The successful Senior Category Manager will have:

-Significant category management experience, broad commercial experience and knowledge of the UK FMCG market.
-Experience within a Branded/Blue Chip FMCG organisation in a Senior Category management role within the Grocery channel.
-A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach.
-Ability to influence with gravitas cross functionally and externally.
-A track record of strategic thinking.
-Preferably be degree educated or equivalent.
