Job Details

Paul Nyman Consultancy are recruiting a London based Graduate Sales Development Merchandiser for a global personal hygiene business.

The Business 

This company is a multi-billion turnover corporation, competing against a number of major blue chip branded players in the personal care category. To continue their ongoing retail growth they require a Retail Merchandiser of graduate calibre to maximise its consumer interaction across a portfolio of London stores.

The Role

You will cover a clearly defined number of stores per day, collecting and processing data that supports the business. Ensuring that the businesses product category is efficiently and clearly able to meet the needs of its consumers is the key objective of this role. Assessing sales data, product availability, POS and pricing checks are amongst the criteria you will be analysing.

To Person 

You should be educated to degree level within a Business or Marketing subject area. Beyond this a good understanding of Excel will be important to allow you to hit the ground running on this role. Most importantly however will be your general approach to work and "can do" attitude, you will be in contact with customers on a daily basis so the ability to forge relationships will be a key skill to achieving success.

The Opportunity

The role is designed to be a 12 month introduction to the world of FMCG sales and Marketing to set you up for a bigger role within our client or elsewhere.
