Paul Nyman Consultancy are working in partnership with a leading FMCG business to recruit a Commercial Controller across Retail and Foodservice to lead a team from their Yorkshire HQ.

The Role 

As Commercial Controller Retail & Foodservice you will be charged with fully managing and growing the businesses retail and foodservice accounts. The role will be supported by a number of direct reports and will work closely with NPD, Category & Marketing to deliver success. The ability to accurately forecast and ensure a successful supply chain will be an integral facet to the role.

The Person

  • You will have experience of operating in a senior commercial position or equivalent on one or more of the grocery MULTS and have a proven record of developing and executing strategic customer plans
  • If this retail can be complemented by Foodservice experience that would be a significant advantage.
  • Your CV will need to demonstrate a strong and consistent progression curve thus far
  • As an individual you will be a determined team-player who is able to work effectively alongside an office team, whilst possessing the ability to pass on your experience and act as a mentor to junior members of the team.
  • Longer term you will possess the attitude and aptitude to push on to higher levels of the commercial ladder and take advantage of the opportunities our client can offer your career.
