As Director of Sales reporting to our Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for the development and performance of all sales management, sales associates and distributors to independent hotels, whilst ensuring their clear understanding of the company vision and mission statement. Providing leadership, strategic planning, and monitoring for all independent sales activities, you’ll ensure the sales team achieves maximum profitability and growth in line with our vision and goals. Key accountabilities of the Director of Sales will include:
• growing new account business with independent hotels in UK and Europe
• ensuring we have the plans, people and systems in place to grow sales and guarantee future market success
• a hands-on approach to new business. 

Educated to degree level in business or a related field, you must have significant sales management experience in the B2B segment, ideally within the luxury, consumer, beauty, health and wellness, or hotel amenities sector. With a clear record of sales success, new business development and customer retention, you’re strong on financials, P&L and balance sheet, with excellent all-round negotiation, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Your respectful, collaborative, constructive and energetic style complements strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor and develop. Along with first-class organisational and complex, multi-project management skills, you have robust customer focus. In addition to great analytical and problem-solving skills, your other attributes include:
• sound decision-making
• real attention to detail 
• fluency in English and, ideally, one or more of French, German, Italian or Spanish
• proficiency in MS Office.
