Head of Trade Marketing

Our client is a global branded business in the household & personal care sector and they are seeking a talented head of trade marketing.

Key responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the Go To Market Plans for the portfolio of global brands
  • Accountable for the development of differentiated customer plans, focused on product, price, promotion & place.
  • Leading the S&OP initiative and promotions process ensuring the trade marketing team provide input and analysis.
  • Leading the trade marketing team to develop and deploy go to market plans to drive sales and establish perfect store execution
  • Lead monthly meetings to review sales out vs forecast by customer on each initiative and develop gap closing or acceleration plans to deliver the yearly target
  • Accountable for the trade marketing development of customer trade-sell presentations
  • Accountable for the go-to-market toolkit focused on execution of the 4 Ps that enables delivery of initiatives objectives and perfect store execution
  • Accountable for perfect in store execution - leading the multi-functional team to ensure promotions and initiatives land, and are executed on time and with excellence
  • Responsible for the coaching and development of the Trade Marketing Team




Suitable candidates must have leadership experience in a commercial strategy, implementation or trade marketing role, within a large FMCG business. Strong commercial awareness, people management and in-store execution expertise is require to be successful in this role.
