A highly rewarding career with Bel UK, one of the UK’s largest FMCG clients, as a National Account Manager awaits a highly motivated, target-driven and entrepreneurial individual looking for a fast-paced and exciting new challenge. This can be a home based role with weekly access to their Sevenoaks office.

Working with iconic brands manufactured and marketed by Bel Group such as Boursin, Leerdammer, Mini Babybel and Port Salut, this vital role is perfectly suited to a dynamic individual with outstanding commercial acumen and relationship-building skills and offers an excellent opportunity to make a huge impact on our client’s future.

Our successful candidate will define and implement mid and long-term strategies to target growth within the Top4 multiples. This will include developing and translating the Business Unit Plan within existing customers in these sectors, while also identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Take decisions within a set frame on pricing, promotion plans / expenditures and discounts
  • Increase customer base in line with business unit objectives
  • Managing trade shows, including delivering presentations
  • Drive business through regular contact at Head Office
  • Provide market information/ competitor activity to senior Managers/ Directors
  • Initiate Category Management projects with the Category team in major multiples
  • Regular international liaison with other Bel subsidiaries on Top 4 customers

So, who are we looking for?

You must have a proven track record of excellent commercial awareness and strategic thinking, with at least two-three years’ sales experience within the UK FMCG marketplace. Educated to graduate level, you will boast key account and regional account management experience, with category management exposure an advantage. An outstanding communicator with a collaborative team-based approach, it is essential you possess outstanding relationship-building, IT and analytical skills.
