The Buying and Merchandising division of Exsurgo is recruiting a Food Buyer for one of the UK’s largest multi-channel Wholesaler.

The role

The role of Buying Manager will be to structure, manage and develop each category allocated, in line with corporate policy. To be accountable for the delivery of KPI’s and the development of Buying Assistants. To support their line manager in all aspects of the buying function.

 

The candidate

The successful individual will have previous experience within Food and excellent negotiation techniques and commercial and financial management skills. You will be analytically and process minded and highly motivated and project-driven.
You will have the ability to work as part of a tightly knit team with excellent interpersonal skills, linked to a willingness and ‘skill set’ to develop others.

If you are an individual who is educated to degree level or equivalent with 4-5 years in a similar role and experience within a food retail environment then this could be the role for you!
