Are you currently a Head of Sales or Senior National Account Manager looking for a bigger career opportunity in a smaller environment where you will have a definite impact, personality – you will be a can do, go getter with high energy, but have the analytical business brain to cope with the detail.

The Company

Innovative renewable energy systems – high CSR agenda, and owned by a £600m International business!  Unlike many other businesses they are more versatile, focussed and ambitious. They understand the needs of their customers managing all aspects of the supply chain to provide profitable solutions. This involves initial project management from site installations, government grants and financial incentives for the customer.

But this won’t be like working for a large blue-chip corporation, with a total of 1500 employees globally, the UK operation is small, but versatile!  You will have total business and financial insight and be offered the ability to make fast decisions with all your inputs to the UK business.

The role offers a genuine opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and own a commercial strategy to drive profitable growth in 2017 and beyond. 

The Role:

Reporting to the CFO & CEO of the mother business you will be responsible for:

  • Achievement of all key commercial measures for UK division.
  • Creation and implementation of clear strategy.
  • Creation and implementation of Customer contact matrix.
  • Providing Leadership to UK office.
  • Leading Customer budget planning preparation.
  • Developing implementing and executing, in conjunction with CFO & CEO, the most appropriate sales policy, objectives and action plans by product and channel within the framework of the company strategy in order to achieve volume, market share and profit objectives.
  • Heading up and driving sustainability projects in conjunction with UK businesses.
  • Commercial responsibility to include all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, sales and profitability.

Your key performance indicators will include developing relationships cross functionally, driving sales and delivering outstanding sustainability insights and missed opportunities to the trade. 

You:

Ideal candidates will have business to business or industrial sales background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of supply chain and finance management.  Fundamentally you will be PASSIONATE ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY AND PROVIDING SOLUTIONS THAT BENEFIT THE ENVIRONMENT.
