The Role

We are working alongside our client with their recruitment for a Key Account Manager within their foodservice business unit. This position will be responsible for the development and management of new and existing accounts on both a regional and national level; this will be done through the delivery of the strategy through the sale of innovative food ingredients products.

 

You will be facing directly into the end-user foodservice accounts; establishing strong relationships with them, working with them on menu development, understanding their needs and providing solutions in line with their specific requirements. To achieve this you will utilise all resourcing available, NPD, Marketing, Packaging, to create new initiative where required in order to maximise sales and profits.

You will be working as part of the wider foodservice team in order to achieve the business unit targets; you will be developing and delivering key customer strategies, supporting the short and long term business plans.

The Candidate

  • Graduate calibre. Degree educated; ideally minimum 2:1 in business related degree.
  • Previous account management and business development experience within the foodservice / b2b industry
  • Proven track record of successes in account management and business development
  • Self – motivated and ambitious
  • I.T Skills and excellent communicator
  • Team player
