A great opportunity for a foodservice expert to work with exciting brands and a great culture, helping to further develop their foodservice business.
Our client is an instantly recognizable food producer with some of the UK’s most loved brands under their belt, as well as a really strong own label business producing the Grocery market’s more tasty indulgences. They are steeped in history but after a huge investment and a new international sister company offering a reinvigorated boost to the business, they are on the next step of their journey and looking to expand. As such a new team has emerged to put more emphasis and focus on the potential to be won in the foodservice sector.
As a National Account Manager you will be responsible for;
• Managing the P&L within the foodservice channel.
• Leveraging current networks to develop new business within foodservice channel, with a specific focus on End User, Pub and Restaurant groups.
• Delivering a tailored product base to fit with market opportunity.
• Work with and influence internal and external stakeholders to build strong, profitable relationships.
Due to the highly competitive nature of their respective category, you will be working with some of the biggest brands in the food sector and as such the successful candidate must possess a strong commercial background working within the FMCG arena and will be coming from a background managing a considerable P&L within the Foodservice or High Street Channels. Given the channel’s infancy, you will also be able to demonstrate building new business within previous roles and be able to develop channel strategies autonomously. An understanding of working with Brands is a preference but not essential.
