Interim Commercial Manager - nine months - £400-450 per day - urgent start.
Long-term Interim Commercial Manager role.
Really keen to talk to candidates with a background in food or FMCG manufacturing with a strong commercial career who have already moved into interim or are thinking of making that move.
You must have worked with the major retailers and ideally one of the discounters. With a keen focus on the numbers and an ability to understand the category management piece, you will be happy to work autonomously.
In terms of style you need to be able to take a view and make decisions, know how and what to prepare for the customer. You will understand the category and make the correct commercial decisions based on your market knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will be a sophisticated communicator, who really understands the retailer/manufacturer relationship.
