Looking for an experienced Procurement Improvement Manager to strengthen the team of a global manufacturing business. Using your experience and your driven attitude, you will guide and challenge cross-functional category teams towards common strategic goals.

You will develop a project orientated approach and work alongside the category management stakeholders, who will support you in your task to manage and improve the professionalisation of the procurement department.

 

The Role:

- Be instrumental at the crossroads of engineering, operations and commerce, taking responsibility for agreed improvement initiatives and contributing to the implementation of e-procurement tools.

- Take responsibility for the internal category management process and act as an ambassador to this propagate within the organisation.

- Guide and coach team members and managers; overseeing the delivery of agreed category strategies, holding meetings, preparing and facilitating workshops.

- Execute and implement improvement initiatives, creating solutions for cross-functional working.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

- Energetic and decisive; taking ownership of your initiatives and work with a pragmatic approach.

- Professional individual ideally holding a Masters Degree.

- Experience in a strategic business functions, with total cost ownership / value in use knowledge.

- Fluent in Dutch and English

- Analytical and confident to operate as a mentor, initiator and influencer.

- Knowledge of project management, excellent at communicating complex ideas across all management levels.
