Job Description

In PepsiCo Nordics we are now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Commercial Nutrition team. You will be responsible for the Juice and Grains categories in Sweden and Iceland working with strong brands like Tropicana and Quaker Havrefras.



Furthermore, you will have a Commercial Activation Manager Nutrition reporting in to you supporting your function and to ensure the delivery of strong quarterly in-store activation agenda (BTL / Trade Marketing).



In this role you can be located in our office in Copenhagen or Oslo.

Key responsibilities
  • Develops, implement and drive annual commercial plans and activities for Swedish and Icelandic market for Juice and Grains in close cooperation with our distribution partners.
  • Follow PepsiCo Global Control Standard (PGCS) compliance for the responsible markets and budgets through solid governance with our distribution partners and other PGCS control follow-ups
  • People responsibility for Commercial Activation Manager Nutrition ICE-SE and ensure that people processes are followed and talents developed.
  • Ensure the delivery of strong quarterly in-store activation agenda (BTL / Trade Marketing) on the Juice category for lead market SE as well as other Nordic in close cooperation with distribution partners
  • Overall budget responsibility for budget management of D&A / BTL / Trade marketing investments and evaluation of investments



  • Job requirements
    • Build collaborative strategic relationships with our distribution partners, prepare regular distributor review meetings and ensure interaction with different disciplines / levels
    • Deliver volume, net revenue and profit objectives
    • Lead and develop strong annual commercial plans with distribution partners for the responsible markets to capture market opportunities across designated markets and categories
    • Lead long term joint business planning sessions with our distribution partners
    • Handle and analyse portfolio to ensure optimize mix in accordance with P&L, consumer trends and competition.
    • Implement aligned commercial & marketing agenda through synchronized activities and budgets between the two function through strong coordination with commercial activation and marketing managers
    • Support innovation projects by providing input for the commercial function and engage as required with category team, the Sr. Commercial Manager Nutrition and the Nordic leadership team on commercial initiatives, brand strategy, innovation and other category building programs or projects
    • Facilitate monthly integrated sales and operating planning meeting (i-S&OP) to deliver topline growth plans through aligned demand plan and to identify mitigation plans.
    • Be gatekeeper of critical timelines for our distributors ensuring readiness of all commercial activities / new projects / launches for trade windows, sales cycles and other key deadlines of distributors
    • People management responsibility for Commercial Activation Manager. Ensure that PepsiCo people processes are followed and that we develop and grow our talents.


    Professional experience/skills
      • Have minimum 7 years FMCG experience preferably within a top 5 player with branded products
      • In-depth understanding of the Nordic retail environment
      • Proven track record of leading edge sales capabilities
      • Experience with people management and talent development
      • Experience with development of commercial plans and strategic joint-business planning
      • Ability to decode problems and articulate challenge simply and effectively with clear proposals
      • Excellent influential presentation and communication skills as the role require extensive internal and external interaction
      • Strong strategic and analytical skills
      • Excellent time and project management skills
      • Solid knowledge on how to use Nielsen and GfK data
    • Fluency in English and preferably one of the Nordic languages (DK/NO/SE)
