As the Field Sales Manager you will be accountable for the achievement of profitable growth sales targets in impulse stores by delivering the greatest in store execution! You will be pivotal in hiring, coaching, supervising, training and motivating the total PepsiCo sales team, with the added dynamic of incorporating the full contract management of our outsourced team.

Accountabilities

  • Drive the impulse field sales force to deliver net revenue growth by achieving in store execution objectives
  • Proactively inspect and improve the quality of in store execution by working together with field team in the market
  • Positively impact the performance of the team and individuals by making coaching your top priority; co-creating and implementing the development plans agreed with the Sales Capabilities team.
  • Coordinate with the sales support functions, providing field insights to get the best in class field support tools.
  • Manage the outsourced sales force contract, and set one single field sales agenda.
  • Build solid relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Align with HR to recruit and assess team members
  • Define the principles to set targets and define the key performance metrics
  • Communicate in a structured and effective way, both with field teams and HQ support functions
  • Set the monthly agenda for the field team and secures complianceBusiness dimensions
  •  
  • Market coverage: 24,000 retail points of sale
  • Directly manage: 11 RSMs and lead a team of 235 SDRs

 


Functional competences

 

  • You must be a true leader, committed to winning in the market with a field team in continuous improvement
  • Be able to translate strategy (channels and portfolio) into challenging action plans
  • Ability to quickly gain deep knowledge of the field organisation. Apply knowledge of core business processes.
  • Excellent influential skills to work in a matrix environment and to lead an outsourced sales force
  • Experience in managing field teams or large teams
  • Experience in managing out sourced contract
