In addition are you looking for absolute accountability for delivering the success across all areas of a creative business and want to use your extensive experience of running multi-disciplined teams? Ling Design is one of the UK's market leading publishers of high end Greetings Cards and Gift Packaging , turning over more than £9 million and selling in excess of 25,000,000 cards annually to UK multiples and independents and also to over 25 countries in several  languages. Having been acquired by the Swan Mill Paper Group nearly two years ago we have added the outstanding Penny Kennedy gift packaging to our portfolio. Plus, our recent acquisition of the exciting Velvet Olive contemporary card brand  adds to our well known Talking Picture and Ling Cards ranges and we are continuing to grow our market leading position in the category.

The right candidate will have worked in an innovative, demanding product led, seasonal business and ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in the card or gift market. This will enable you to quickly understand the complex aspects of this unique and dynamic sector. You will be hungry to identify new opportunities to develop our offer whilst maintaining the brand integrity and the high levels of satisfaction our customers have come to expect.

You will be used to having the autonomy and freedom to make courageous, proactive and well-constructed decisions that drive profitability and the leadership skills and drive to continue to develop all the elements of this multi-site business, which includes logistics, warehousing, , the creative studio, sales, marketing, customer service, IT and procurement to ensure we maximise the potential of the business, whilst nurturing the talent of every member of our team.
