Grocery National Account Manager - Health Foods

A new and genuinely exciting opportunity to join a fun and friendly food business as a Grocery National Account Manager.

The brand sits comfortably alongside businesses such as Innocent and Graze in that they offer healthy food for people with a busy lifestyle. Their products are also sourced responsibly and do not contain any additives. This product has taken the health foods market by storm and they're now looking for a Grocery National Account Manager to take them to the next level.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Sales Director on managing the largest grocery accounts
• Maintain P&L of your own accounts to drive sales and profitability
• Business development (warm and new business) within target grocery accounts
• Analyse account performance and make valid recommendations to continually improve performance
• Build solid relationships with other internal departments to ensure plans are delivered on time and in full
• Work closely with the development team to produce bespoke solutions to customers

This is a great opportunity for someone of graduate calibre to get a lot of responsibility and be able to progress into a managerial role in a company that is growing year on year. The opportunity would ideally suit a Grocery National Account Executive who is looking to progress to National Account Manager level within an entrepreneurial company.

The person we are looking for will be:

• Degree educated (or equivalent)
• Experienced in national account management and some experience of new business development within food, drink or FMCG.
• An Account Manager with a collaborative approach
• Ambitious and driven - this role will progress into a larger role with management responsibility
• Passionate about food
• Willing to travel across when the UK when needed
