Client Details

My Client is an established European brand with great proposition and high level of marketing investment. They are looking to grow their market share in the UK and therefore looking for a Business Development Manager - Grocery to set up their commercial operation.

Description



Business Development Manager - Grocery will be responsible for the acquisition of new clients (retail) and further developing the business within existing key accounts.



You will develop and execute Retail and OOH strategy in line with the ambition of the business. You will be tasked with obtaining maximum distribution of existing and new products as well as a rapid growth of the distribution of new products;



Full P&L and JBP ownership for the grocery accounts. You will develop and coordinate all local Marketing activities, supported by the European HQ.

Profile



We are looking for a strong commercial individual with an entrepreneurial mind-set, who is analytic, communicative, sharp and a self-starter. The Business Development Manager - Grocery should have strong commercial experience within FMCG, ideally within the coffee category. A thorough knowledge of the grocery business is needed; experience with trade marketing is a plus. The candidate should be someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, has a proven track record in sales, is pro-active and motivated to get excellent results.

The role is home based, however Ideally we are looking for someone based in the South East England in the proximity to the Southern Grocers.



Job Offer

Basic salary up to £65,000 with performance related bonus, car allowance, pension, healthcare and a range of lifestyle benefits.
