Job Details

Our client is an International Distributor of Wines and Spirits with a portfolio of established beverage brands of the finest quality which are supplied into Retail, E-Commerce, Wholesale, Cash and Carry and Specialists. With exciting NPD plans and as a result of their high performance the business is now looking to recruit a Head of Production to develop their manufacturing site. This role would suit someone who relishes autonomy and a chance to really shape the future of the company.

The Role

As the Head of Production, you will report directly into the Managing Director and will be required to liaise with the other members of the senior leadership team to ensure the production and operational process on site is as efficient as possible to play its part in the future growth strategy of the business. As an integral part of the senior management team you will be responsible for increasing production efficiencies, whilst providing vision, guidance and leadership focused around delivering of manufacturing KPI’s and increasing year on year performance.

The successful Head of Production will:

  • Currently hold the position of Head of Production, Head of Operations, Production Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager,  or equivalent
  • Have experience of manufacturing bottled drinks
  • Have experience of introducing a production line from beginning to end
  • Experience of managing budgets and costings  
  • Have a can do attitude / go getter / act upon own initiative / demonstrate leadership skills
  • Experience of expanding and building a team due to business growth
  • Ideally be degree educated or equivalent

In return you will receive a salary of up to £65,000 plus benefits.

This is role does require access to their Home Counties head office.
