The Person

You will be active and energetic with a passion for demonstrating products to both in-store teams and consumers. You need to be highly self-motivated, reliable and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Its important you will have a high degree of flexibility as the role involves a lot of travel and overnight stays. This is a large territory covering accounts from Birmingham to Bournemouth. Some occasional weekend work would be required. A full driving licence, preferably clean is essential.

Experience of retail sales channels would be advantageous, but not essential, you may have previous experience of working in sales, marketing, retail, or from an event environment where you have gained knowledge of store layouts, product promotion and setting up displays. Alternatively, if you are a self-starter full of enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard we want to hear from you.

 The Role  

  • Creatively maximise in store space ensuring all product is displayed to a high standard driving best practice re: visual display standards.  Using your creative flair and dexterity you will also be charged with installing and merchandising these bespoke displays.
  • You will seek to further store product knowledge wherever possible– from call to call you will share your breadth of knowledge with retailers and consumers alike to ensure that they are left with nothing but positivity and good will toward the Silver Cross Brand.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to action promotions and manage local point of sale material. Ensure product assortment and promotion are implementation to exacting standards
  • Attend key product/sales training demonstrations (on-site and off-site) and organise in store demonstrations within key retail partners on your area furthermore you will be required to attend trade shows, this may involve some weekend work.
