A multi award-winning branded premium food manufacturer is looking for a National Account Manager to take responsibility for its national retail accounts, including top 4 grocery. Better Placed are pleased to be working with a category leading food company that is experiencing exceptional and continuous growth.

Operating in highly competitive, innovative, fast paced and growing categories, this leading premium FMCG business prides itself on its best quality and genuine `foodie' values. The business now seeks an exceptional National Account Manager to propel its business further forward.



The Person
  • Sharp commercial understanding combined with excellent negotiation, presentation and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a smaller, fast paced, growing business.
  • Evidence of high self-motivation, driven, hard-working.
  • Evidence of an eager interest in and passion for great food.
  • Proven track record of managing large accounts.
  • Experience of food service account management would also be useful.
  • Confident with data.




The Role:
  • Full P&L responsibility for top 4 accounts
  • Create a joint business plan with customers that deliver against volume, distribution and profit objectives
  • Identify and implement stretch targets
  • Forecasting, pricing and promotion
  • Building and sustaining strong customer relationships
  • Communicating effectively with other internal departments to deliver the overall business strategy; (brand, category and technical)
  • Attending regular face-to-face meetings with customers, championing the brand's unique strengths and values.




This role will suit an experienced National Account Manager or National Account Executive with excellent account management skills and the ability to build and manage strong relationships.
