The Buying and Merchandising division of Exsurgo is recruiting a Buyer for a Grocery company.
This is a very fast-paced and values-driven company, achieving impressive growth making a difference through their attention to detail.
The role
The role of Buyer will be responsible for ethically sourcing an existing portfolio of food and packaging lines, liaising with current suppliers and distributors to ensure best in class deals for the product range and working closely with Branding & Comms, Food and Finance teams to deliver the best for the customers.
The ideal Buyer candidate
The successful individual will have proven commercial experience at a Buyer level and must have experience in food. You will have worked closely with a Merchandising team and worked within an Own Branded Buying role previously. You must be highly competent in Excel and other MS office functions and have previous Line Management experience.
