Benefiting from significant investment and enjoying excellent supplier relations, our client, a highly successful food business, is looking to further strengthen their senior management team with the appointment of an experienced Commercial Controller where success will depend on you bringing drive, a fresh perspective and creativity to maximise both profit and volume in their accounts.

This is a full commercial management role where you will be responsible for ensuring year on year growth and developing and continuously improving effective partnerships with key customers.

You will have responsibility for setting and delivering an achievable sales strategy across the food category and will oversee a range of accounts with P&L and line management responsibility. The role is high profile and you will work closely with colleagues in Marketing, NPD and Commercial functions to manage all aspects of developing the business within the customer base.

Commercial, creative and an influential communicator, you will have an outstanding track record of achieving sales targets. You'll need to be a highly proactive, ambitious and driven individual who has natural leadership ability and the hunger to make a significant personal impact on business growth. You will also need to demonstrate own label experience gained within a food category and have had previous experience of managing retail accounts.
