This well established Company is part of the grocery division of a major UK based plc. It is the leader in its sector, providing a large range of high quality, authentic ethnic foods, with sales through all of the major multiples and every other available route to market. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will:
• Take full marketing budget responsibility for consumer brands, leading the team in creating market opportunities to achieve significant competitive advantage
• Drive budgeted brand sales with the appropriate profit growth through direct and indirect marketing and promotional spend
• Develop a clear ongoing 3 year strategic plan and market vision for the brands, including delivering NPD opportunities with the Innovation and Insight team
Candidates will be of graduate calibre with a background in the FMCG grocery sector and have a strong track record in brand planning, strategy and communications, together with experience in consumer research and NPD/Innovation. Commercial acumen and analytical skills are required and the ability to work in multi-functional teams is essential.
